How is CRO governed?

Cliffs Residents Outreach is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit South Carolina corporation with defined by-laws. A Board of Directors consisting of a President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer with additional Board Members representing all Upstate SC Cliffs communities governs the CRO umbrella organization. The CRO Board meets quarterly and rotates meeting locations throughout its communities. A volunteer advisory council governs the community branches of Glassy, Valley/Mt. Park, Vineyards and Falls/Springs.

What are example CRO programs?

Most community programs fall under these categories: Educational Programs (as requested by the schools,) Nutritional, Family Resources, ECD-Early Childhood Education and Student/Family crisis situations. Contact your community Advisory Council for specific program information.

How are children and families selected to receive CRO assistance?

Each branch community adopts a nearby school(s) that serves as the gatekeeper in identifying, selecting, monitoring and evaluating both student and family needs.

How can I support CRO?

You can support CRO by volunteering your time and your talents as well as through financial donations. Residents wishing to volunteer may contact any Board member or your community advisory council. Tax deductible donations may be made on-line by credit card or by mailing a check and may be designated to a specific community branch.
